Webb7 sep. 2024 · The Small Faces were one of the leading bands on the English rock scene in the 1960s. Originally from East London, the group was founded in 1965 by members Steve Marriott (vocals, guitar), Ronnie Lane (vocals, bass), Kenney Jones (drums), and Jimmy Winston (keyboards), although Ian McLagan had replaced Winston by 1966. WebbThe audio has been cleaned up from the original recording and has resulted in a very powerful sound that shows the Small Faces stretching out over classics and their own songs. They may have been very young but they had been playing extensively and the band was incredibly tight. They worked perfectly as a unit with all the members as equals.
