WebSep 14, 2012 · I have a series of cells that contain dates. Some cells are blank, however. I want to use the stop light conditional formatting for the cells. I can set the formatting for the cells with dates, but have no idea how to set the formatting for a cell that is blank. I am sure I have to write a formula, but don't know what to put in it. The problem is, the IF ($D:$D=0) recognises cells with value 0 and those which are blank as true.
